Argentina edged Colombia 84–83 in a thrilling matchup decided in the final moments. Argentina dominated the opening quarter 29–17, but Colombia roared back in the second with a 24–11 run, leaving the score tied 40–40 at halftime. In the third, Argentina regained momentum with a 22–17 edge, taking a narrow five-point lead into the final period. The fourth quarter was a nail-biter, as Colombia outscored Argentina 25–22, but fell just short of completing the comeback. Despite Colombia’s late push, Argentina held on to secure the one-point victory in a game full of momentum swings. Nicolas Brussino (205-SF-1993) gave Argentina an 84-83 win over Colombia with a last shot.
Juan Fernandez (193-G-1990, college: Temple) stepped up with 36 points and 16 rebounds, whilst Gonzalo Corbalan (193-G/F-2002, college: LCU) had 20. Braian Angola-Rodas (198-G/F-1994, college: FSU) answered with 22 points and Michaell Jackson posted 15.
