Guatemala earn Liga Nacional Apertura title - Jun 19, 2022

Guatemala clinched Liga Nacional Apertura title. They finished the Final Four stage undefeated claiming the top position. Guatemala finished their campaign with a comfortable 57-41 victory over Alta Verapaz. Luisa Rivas (170-PG-1993) posted 14 points to lead the winners. She was named the MVP. Ashley Rosales (173-G-1998) had 9 points for the winners. Nathaly Pinelo (167-PG-1999) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds for Alta Verapaz.
Huehuetenango earned the second place in the final ladder. They beat Jalapa 69-58 to end up at 2-1 record. Vanessa Vasquez stepped up with 31 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side.
