Barberena wins the Guatemalan Liga Nacional 2015 title


Barberena earn National League title - Apr 13, 2015

Barberena celebrated the National League title. They overcame Nueva Santa Rosa 94:78 for the trophy. Barbarena trailed by three points at the interval 40:43. But they surged ahead in the third frame for a 66:61 lead at the final intermission. Barbarena cleared off in the fourth period and rallied to the victory. Oscar Salguero (198-F/C-87) was named the MVP. Nueva Santa Rosa occupied the second position, while last season's champions Suchitepequez finished third.
