Latinbasket.com All-Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana Apertura Awards 2025

Taliik Ross, American center from the Solola, was selected as the Player of the Year at the Liga Nacional. He graduated from the Keyano two years ago. Ross received multiple other awards, was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the First Team. He was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. Ross' team won the ACAC North Division Regular Season in 2023.

Marcus Faison, Canadian shooting guard from the Solola, earned a spot in the First Team of Liga Nacional. He is the Salem State College alumni from 2017. Among many awards he was selected as the Latinbasket All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Apertura Honorable Mention between 2019 and 2022. He was also selected as the Nicaraguan LSB All-Star Game back in 2020.

Bryant Randleman, 25-year old American guard from the Solola, was voted to the First Team at the Liga Nacional. He is ex the James Madison from 2024. Randleman's college team won the Sun Belt Tournament in 2024.

Victor Sosa, 37-year old forward from the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala, was selected to the First Team of Liga Nacional. Among many awards he won the Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana Torneo Apertura championship title in 2018 and 2023. He was selected to the Latinbasket All-Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana Torneo Clausura First Team back in 2022. Sosa was also selected as the Latinbasket All-Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana Clausura Honorable Mention in 2024.

Renato Juarez, 31-year old shooting guard from the Solola, was chosen to the First Team at the Liga Nacional. He won the Guatemalan Liga Nacional Torneo Clausura championship title in 2022.
