GMS - Olmeca 66-56 Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked GMS and 6th ranked Olmeca had identical 1-2 record. This time GMS used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 66-56. GMS dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Olmeca's 24. Point guard Anthony Guerra (178-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward Victor Sosa (190-88) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. GMS's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. GMS (2-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with Coloso and Pampichi. Olmeca at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Villa Nueva. GMS will play against Coloso (#4) in the next round. Olmeca will play against the league's leader ELOHIM in Chimaltenango to get more than just one victory in their record.
