An exciting game was played in Chimaltenango. ELOHIM faced GMS. Host ELOHIM (2-0) defeated guests from (0-2) 96-87. ELOHIM outrebounded GMS 48-35 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-90) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international swingman Pablo Gonzalez (194-89) chipped in 25 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. point guard Anthony Guerra (178-97) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the guests. ELOHIM is looking forward to face Pampichi in Amatitlan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GMS will play against Coloso and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
