Forza - Monjitas 93-48 Bottom-ranked Monjitas (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 93-48 loss to fifth ranked Forza (2-2) in . Forza outrebounded Monjitas 43-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Naturalized American guard David Goddard (185-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 43 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Forward Mariano Santa Cruz (194-2) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Jose Lopez answered with 17 points and 6 assists and Rodrigo Fernandez added 6 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Monjitas. Monjitas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Forza maintains fifth place with 2-2 record. Monjitas at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Forza will play against higher ranked Villa Nueva (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
