Bottom-ranked Guatemala (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 95-34 loss to fourth ranked Solola (4-2) in on Saturday evening. Solola moved-up to third place. Guatemala at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Solola are looking forward to face league's leader St. Lucia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guatemala will have a break next round.
The game in Jalapa supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Chimaltenango (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Jalapa (2-5). Chimaltenango smashed Jalapa 106-63. Chimaltenango moved-up to second place. Jalapa at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Chimaltenango will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jalapa will play against Baja Veraoaz (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
