The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Halcones as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Halcones smashed bottom-ranked Centenarios at home 79-41. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Centenarios' 24. They outrebounded Centenarios 50-23 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard David Monterroso (180-79) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-90) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Guard Mynor Aquino (175-89) answered with 3 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Centenarios. Centenarios' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Forza's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Coeindeguasa (0-3) 82-53. It was a great evening for Walter Gasparico (-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Gary Alvarez helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Juan Jose Ceren (-86) responded with 19 points and 5 assists. Forza (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fourth place. It was Coeindeguasa's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. Forza will play against league's leader Halcones in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
