Worth to mention a great performance of Enrique Samayoa (193-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Kevin Alvarez (185-95, college: Coast Guard) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Walter Ramirez (-97) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and forward Luis Perez (191-97) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Amatitlan.

Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Forza's 28. They outrebounded Forza 52-35 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard David Monterroso (180-79) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-90) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. At the losing side Walter Gasparico (-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Alejandro Carrillo (192-88) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds.
