Chur's 23 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

22-year old Hector Chur (1999) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Halcones and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 23 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Halcones in his team's victory, helping them to beat Villa Nueva (#6, 1-1) 71-66. It allowed Halcones to consolidate first place in the Guatemalan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Halcones already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Chur had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Halcones, through which he has constantly improved. Chur has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.7ppg) and averages solid 56.0% FGP and 44.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Fredy Estrada (1998) of Villa Nueva. He is a in his first (recently joined) season at Villa Nueva. In the last game Estrada recorded impressive double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Villa Nueva lost that game 66-71 to league's leader Halcones (#1, 3-0). This loss caused Villa Nueva to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 1-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Estrada is one of the most experienced players at Villa Nueva and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Henry Cisneros of Circulo (#7). Cisneros scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds.
