Monterroso's 27 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award

43-year old point guard David Monterroso (180-PG-1979) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Halcones and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Halcones in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Jaguares (#2, 2-1) with 28-point margin 95-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Halcones moved-up to the 4th position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. Halcones is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. It's Monterroso's second year at Halcones and it's hard to imagine this team without him.
