Halcones - Forza 72-49 An interesting game for Halcones (4-1) which hosted in their close opponent Forza (2-2). Second ranked Halcones had an easy win 72-49. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Forza. Halcones forced 20 Forza turnovers. It was a good game for point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) who led his team to a victory with 29 points. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Carlos Chavez (191-1989) replied with 15 points and Juan Aguilar05 (-2005) added 6 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Forza. Forza's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Halcones have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Villa Nueva. Forza at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Jaguares. Second ranked Halcones (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Dark Knights (1-4). Halcones smashed Dark Knights 122-55. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 116 of its points in the paint compared to Dark Knights' 32. Halcones forced 22 Dark Knights turnovers and outrebounded them 70-27 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Dark Knights' players. Point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) had a double-double by scoring 67 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Victor Sosa (190-1988) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jose Maltez (-2001) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Darren Donis (-2002) scored 16 points. Halcones have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Villa Nueva. Dark Knights lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with four games lost.
