After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Liga Nacional and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Izabal (3-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Chimaltenango (4-0) 76-74. Chimaltenango are looking forward to face San Jose (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Izabal will play against Antigua FC (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Jalapa's (#7) 20-point road victory against San Jose 73-53. Jalapa will play against St. Lucia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Jose will play against Chimaltenango (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
A very close game took place in between Huehuetenango and San Lucas. Huehuetenango (2-0) got a very close home victory over San Lucas (1-1). Huehuetenango managed to escape with a 3-point win 74-71 on Saturday evening. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Jutiapa lost to undefeated St. Lucia on the opponent's court 56-76. Amatitlan P. lost to undefeated Antigua FC in a home game 51-93. Winless Quiche lost to undefeated Solola on the road 29-139. Winless Quetzaltenango lost to undefeated PSM on its own court 63-75.
