Suchitepequez will play against the league's leader Solola and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: winless San Jose was destroyed by Tecpan on the opponent's court 73-49. Panajachel outscored Momostenango in a home game 79-42. Huehuetenango was rolled over Quetzaltenango on the road 95-62.

Group A

Tecpan - San Jose 73-49

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked San Jose (0-7) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Tecpan (2-4) 73-49 on Saturday. Tecpan moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Amatitlan P. and Quiche. Loser San Jose still closes the standings with seven games lost. Tecpan will meet league's leader St. Lucia in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. San Jose will play against Amatitlan P. (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
