Guatemala nip Alta Verapaz to conquer Liga Nacional title

Guatemala claimed the Liga Nacional title. They overcame Alta Verapaz 42-40 for the third straight victory in the Final Four tournament to conquer the trophy. Luisa Enriquez (165-F-2001) scored 15 points to pace the winners. Emily Rosales (178-F-1994) tallied 9 points and 10 rebounds for the champions. She was named the MVP. Ilsse answered with 13 points for Alta Verapaz as they ended up in the second place.
