Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Guatemala: PSN (#1) and USAC (#3). USAC was defeated at home 53-60 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. PSN outrebounded USAC 41-25 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cesar Catalan (190-2007) scored 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Rodrigo Oliva (185-2003) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. PSN's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Alex Juarez (175-1993) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). PSN have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. USAC at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Forza. PSN's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala Leones.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Guatemala: Forza (#4) and Halcones (#2). Halcones were smashed at home by 24 points 77-101 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Halcones. Forza (4-4) moved-up to third place, which they share with USAC. Halcones at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. Forza's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala USAC.
