Liga Nacional top team - Solola (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Tecpan (1-11) 87-54. Undefeated Solola have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Tecpan lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Jutiapa. Solola will play against Patulul (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tecpan will play against San Jose in Puerto de San Jose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Salcaja was also quite interesting. Third ranked PSM (10-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Salcaja (6-5). PSM managed to secure a 7-point victory 55-48 on Saturday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for PSM. They maintain third place with 10-2 record having just three point less than leader Solola. Salcaja at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. PSM will meet at home league's second-placed Chimaltenango in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Salcaja will play against Huehuetenango and it may be a tough game between close rivals.




Jutiapa - St. Lucia 0-20
