They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with San Jose and Nahuala. Solola will meet Salcaja (#4) on the road in the next round. Patulul will play against San Jose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 16: Salcaja won against Huehuetenango on the opponent's court 81-71. El Progreso managed to outperform Amatitlan P. in a home game 77-67. Peten crushed Jalapa on its own court 85-31. Tecpan was beaten by San Jose in Puerto de San Jose 62-53.



Huehuetenango - Salcaja 71-81

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Huehuetenango (7-5) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Salcaja (7-5) 81-71 on Saturday. Salcaja moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Huehuetenango. Salcaja will meet at home league's leader Solola in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Huehuetenango will play against the league's second-placed Chimaltenango and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

El Progreso - Amatitlan P. 77-67

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked El Progreso (5-7) defeated at home 5th ranked Amatitlan P. (5-5) 77-67 on Saturday. El Progreso have a solid three-game winning streak.
