Gage's double-double lands him Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award

Trae Gage had a great game in the last round for PSN and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Pat City (#7, 0-3) with 46-point margin 109-63. PSN maintains the 4th position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. PSN is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Gage had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at PSN and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Gage has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 12.5rpg) and averages solid 68.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Cesar Catalan (190-SG-2007). He is a guard in his first season at PSN. In the last game Catalan recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 20 rebounds. It was enough for PSN to edge slightly higher-ranked Leones (2-2) by 5 points 80-75. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. PSN consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Third place about best performers goes to guard KJ Seals (180-PG) of league's leader Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. Seals scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of USAC, leading his team to a 93-54 easy win against #2 ranked Forza. USAC started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Seals turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Seals has a very solid season. In 4 games in Guatemala he scored 11.8ppg.
