Greco's 26 points give him Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award

American Guard Jacksen Greco (190-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Solola AsoBasket and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had the game-high 26 points adding three rebounds for Solola in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team PSN (#7, 0-2) with 36-point margin 94-58. Solola is placed at 2nd position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Solola won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Greco had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Solola's top player in his first season with the team. Anderson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Greco is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.5ppg. Greco is in league's top in and averages solid 68.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Shakeil Bertrand (203-F). He is Trinidad and Tobago forward in his first season at Solola. In the last game Bertrand recorded an impressive double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Greco he helped Solola AsoBasket with another comfortable win outscoring PSN (0-2) 94-58. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Bertrand is a newcomer at Solola and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Solola's star - guard Donaval Avila Jr. (190-G). Avila Jr. scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was another key player of Solola AsoBasket, helping his team with a 90-59 easy win against Bulls (#6, 0-2). Solola has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Avila Jr. also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Avila Jr. has a great season in Guatemala. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.0rpg (6th best).
