Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana round 9 best performance: Sebastian Tabata (by Hoops Agents)

Sebastian Tabata had a great game in the last round for second-ranked El Progreso, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 9.
The player had a double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Bulls (#5, 1-3) with 20-point margin 97-77. El Progreso maintains the 2nd position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. They are still close to the very top. El Progreso would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Tabata had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be El Progreso's top player in his first season with the team. Sebastian Tabata has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.2ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.4rpg) and averages impressive 61.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-G/F-1990) of Bulls. They have rather bad season and 1-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Morgan has individually a great season in Guatemala. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.8rpg (7th best).
