This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Forza (4-2) to sixth ranked Pat City (3-2) 83-82 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Forza. Strangely Forza outrebounded Pat City 67-46 including a 27-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Anfernee Munnings who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Edwin Ruiz contributed with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Sebastian Tabata replied with 32 points and 25 rebounds for Forza. Pat City have a solid three-game winning streak. Yolo's' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat PIBA (0-6) 90-79. Guard Luis Menendez (179-1995) scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Irving Calderon chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Yolo's' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American Theo Braddy (198, college: A&M Texarkana) with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Yolo's (1-5) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was PIBA's sixth loss in a row. Justin Bradley notched 51 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by Kedrick Frink did not help to save the game for New Legends. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated USAC have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Loser New Legends dropped to the sixth place with three games lost.
