Munnings' double-double lands him Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award

28-year old American guard Anfernee Munnings (187-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pat City and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 41 points and 18 rebounds, while his team lost the game against New Legends (#5, 6-3) 75-83. Pat City maintains the 7th position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. Pat City is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 9 games. In the team's last game Munnings had a remarkable 53.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pat City, being already a very valuable addition to the team. St. Petersburg College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Munnings is league's best scorer averaging so far 46.1ppg. Third place about best performers goes to another New Legends' star - guard David Goddard (185-G-1989). Goddard scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of New Legends, helping his team with a 83-75 win against slightly lower-ranked Pat City (#7, 4-5). New Legends needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Goddard has a very solid season. In 8 games in Guatemala he scored 14.1ppg. David Goddard has also Guatemalan passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
