Honduran LNB round 3 best performance: Eric Ortiz (by Hoops Agents)

Puerto Rican Swingman Eric Ortiz (198-G/F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Hondubasket, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 41 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Siguatepeque (#4, 1-2) 89-81. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Hondubasket maintains the 2nd position in Honduran LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Hondubasket will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Ortiz had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Hondubasket's top player in his first season with the team. Eric Ortiz has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.3ppg.
