Urban Knights were crowned champions of the 2023 National Basketball League after beating Upperroom Eagles 57-55 in Game-3 of their best of three final at the stadium courts, Thursday night. The first quarter ended with the Knights leading 14-10, but the Eagles rallied to close out the first half with a 25-24 lead. The third quarter ended 15-15, before the Knights came up 18-15 winners of the fourth quarter and win the game. Nicholai Brown (211-C, college: Lindsey Wilson) was named man of the match for his 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Knights.
