   #1. This week's number one is former international guard Dylan Ennis (188-91, agency: BeoBasket, college: Oregon, currently plays in Spain). He led Gran Canaria to a victory against the seventh-ranked Joventut (2-2) 84-71 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. Ennis recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. Herbalife Gran Canaria (2-1) is placed second in the Liga Endesa. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Ennis' first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season: 12.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.8apg, 3FGP: 39.1% in four games he played so far. Ennis has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Jamaican. He played for the Jamaican senior national team seven years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, currently plays in Japan). Jordan was the major contributor in a 2-point Fukuoka Rizing's victory against the fifth-ranked Aomori Watts (0-2) 73-71 in the Japanese B2 League last Saturday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds. Jordan also added 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). in group West. Fukuoka Rizing (2-0) is placed first. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Jordan has relatively solid stats: 14.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.5apg, 2FGP: 69.2% and FT: 91.7%. He played for the Jamaican national team in 2014.

   #3. The Jamaican player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville, currently plays in Mexico). Samuels could not help Libertadores (6-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Libertadores (6-6) was crushed 108-74 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Soles in the West group. Samuels was the second best scorer with 15 points in 26 minutes. It's Samuels' first season with the team. This year he averages: 7.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 2FGP: 69.4%(34-49) and FT: 59.0% in 12 games. Samuels played for the Jamaican national team seven years ago.

   #4. Small forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville, currently plays in France) contributed to a Orchesien BC's victory against the 13th-ranked SOPCC (0-2) 69-56 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 28 minutes. in Group B. BC Orchies (2-1) is placed fifth. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Alliman has reliable stats this year: 12.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.7spg in three games. Worth to mention Alliman played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He used to play for the Jamaican national team back in 2014.


The list of other players, who all have Jamaican passport but never been selected to any of Jamaican national teams:

   #1. Brynton Lemar (193-G-95, college: UC Davis, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup) could not help Enisey in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Lemar's very good performance his team was defeated 85-80 at home by the lower-ranked Hapoel Haifa. He was the top scorer with 22 points. Lemar also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). It was his first game for Enisey this season. It's Lemar's first year with the team. He is a naturalized American.

   #2. Femi Olujobi (206-C/F-96, agency: Slash Sports, college: DePaul, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a Le Portel's victory against the 14th-ranked Entente Orleans 45 (0-1) 89-72 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA on Saturday night. Olujobi recorded 18 points in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. ESSM Le Portel Cote d'Opale (0-2) is placed sixth in the Betclic ELITE ProA. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Olujobi has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg and 3.0rpg in two games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.

   #3. Experienced Sek Henry (193-G-87, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) was not able to help JDA Dijon in their game against Lavrio (1-0) in the Basketball Champions League. Henry recorded 7 points and added 3 assists. It was his first game for JDA Dijon this season. JDA Dijon was edged 65-63 on the road by the leading Lavrio. Henry is a naturalized American.

   #4. Phil Henry (203-C/F-91, college: ENMU, currently plays in Czech Republic) led Pardubice to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Olomoucko (1-5) crushing them 79-55 in the Czech Republic NBL last Wednesday. He was MVP of the game. Henry scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes. BK JIP Pardubice (2-1) is placed third in the NBL. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Henry's first year with the team. This season he averages: 9.3ppg and 3.8rpg in four games. Henry is a naturalized American.

   #5. Kyle Hunt (208-F/C-89, college: USAO, currently plays in Japan) was not able to secure a victory for Osaka Evessa (1-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the ninth-placed Osaka Evessa (1-1) was badly defeated 90-72 in Kariya by the higher-ranked SeaHorses Mikawa (#4) in the West group. Hunt was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 7 rebounds. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Hunt's first year with the team. Hunt has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.5apg and 2.0spg. Hunt is a naturalized American.

   #6. Shaquille Keith (198-PG-93, college: Cape Breton, currently plays in Finland) contributed to Pyrinto's victory against the eighth-ranked Nokia 101-89 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Wednesday night's game. He scored 15 points, grabbed 4 boards, dished 7 assists and stole 3 balls in 25 minutes. This year Keith has relatively solid stats: 13.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg in two games. He has a dual citizenship: Jamaican and Canadian.

   #7. Willesley Butler (203-F-96, college: UAB, currently plays in Sweden) couldn't help Umea (1-2) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Umea was defeated 91-80 in Sodertalje by the higher-ranked SBBK (#4). Butler scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. His overall stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 6.7rpg and 3.0apg. Butler is a naturalized American.

   #8. Prince Foster (193-G, college: Angelo St., currently plays in Luxembourg) contributed to a 2-point Telstar's victory against the ninth-ranked Contern 99-97 in the Luxembourg LBBL last Sunday. He scored 22 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 37 minutes. Foster has reliable stats this year: 14.0ppg, 7.7rpg, 5.0apg and 2.0spg in three games. He is a naturalized American.

   #9. Javon Masters (183-PG-94, agency: Blacktop Management, college: UNB, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Galati (1-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Masters' very good performance Galati was edged in an overtime 80-78 on their home court in Galati by the higher-ranked Ploiesti CSM (#3). He was the second best scorer with 17 points. Masters also added 5 rebounds and 7 assists. It was his first game for Galati this season. He is another player who holds two passports: Jamaican and Canadian.

   #10. Brandon McLean (201-C-95, college: Huntingdon, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a 1-point Neustadt TSV's victory against the 13th-ranked Rendsburg 84-83 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) last Saturday. McLean scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. McLean's overall stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3spg. He is a naturalized American.
