American Danjel Purifoy (201-F-1995, agency: Helping Ballers) had an amazing evening in the last round for Olimpia Kings and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage).
The 30-year old forward had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Olimpia K. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Univ.Sucre (#4, 2-2) with 44-point margin 109-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Olimpia K. is placed at 3rd position in Liga SudAmericana. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this stage. Olimpia K. will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Purifoy had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Olimpia K.'s top player in his first season with the team. Auburn University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Purifoy is in league's top in points (8th best: 28.0ppg), rebounds (9th best: 4.0rpg) and averages solid 3.0spg,62.5% FGP and 44.4% from behind 3-point line.
