Boca Jrs - Malvin 76-75 Boca Juniors clinched Liga Sudamericana Bronze medals. They narrowly defeated Malvin to step onto the pedestal. Matias Sandes (201-F-84) came up with 17 points to lead the winners. Malvin ensured a 16:14 lead at the first intermission. Boca Juniors shifted the gear in the second frame. The Argentinean team tossed in 24 points to take a 38:30 halftime advantage. Malvin cut the distance in the third term. The Uruguayan team pulled within four points at the final intermission 56:52. Malvin pulled ahead late in regulation. They grabbed a narrow two-point lead before Matias Sandes drained a game-winning triple for Boca Juniors. Claudio Ramirez (G) netted 15 points, while Isaac Sosa Carrion (190-G-90, college: Canisius) contributed 11 points in the win. Ruben Garces (206-C/F-73, college: Providence) and Richard Chaney (196-G-84, college: Troy) responded with 14 points each for Malvin.
