Brasilia celebrate the title in Corrientes - Dec 10, 2015

Brasilia captured the Liga Sudamericana title. They edged San Martin Corrientes on the road and celebrated the third such trophy in their history. Deryk Ramos (185-PG-94) was once again pivotal for the Brazilian side. He topscored with 19 points including a three-pointer at the buzzer to propel Brasilia to the title as they swept the Grand Finals. Brasilia knocked down 26 points in the second frame to take a 42:35 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the third term. San Martin erased the deficit in the fourth term. They drew things level at 79 with five seconds to go in regulation. But Deryk Ramos stepped up for the visitors and brought them the title. Guilherme Giovannoni (203-PF-80, agency: Jose Medalha EC) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Lucas Cipolini (206-PF-86, college: BYU-Hawaii, agency: Agency) added 13 points for the champions. Jeremiah Wood (200-C/F-85, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 17 points and 10 rebounds for San Martin. Diego Ciorciari (185-PG-80, agency: Interperformances) and Matias Lescano (196-G/F-79, agency: You First) had 13 points each in the defeat.
