The most important game of round 2 took place in Barranquilla where Colombian Titanes crushed Brazilian LSB / B2B 75-51 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-51. Titanes dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to LSB / B2B's 22. They outrebounded LSB / B2B 48-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Dominican-Puerto Rican Jonathan Rodriguez (196-1987, college: Campbell) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American forward Kyree Elder (196-1998, college: Shawnee St.) responded with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. LSB / B2B's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. LSB / B2B will play next round against strong Punto Rojo trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Titanes will try to continue on its current victory against San Martin in Corrientes.

Very significant was Argentinian San Martin's 83-76 road victory against Ecuadorian Punto Rojo. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half.
