First defeat of Brazilian Paschoalotto/Bauru (1-1) against leader Argentinian Obera (2-0) 63-55 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Obera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play next round against strong Pichincha trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Obera will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Regatas in Corrientes.
Another exciting game for Argentinian Regatas (1-1) which played on the court of Bolivian Pichincha (0-2). Third ranked Regatas saved the game by a tiny margin of three points 87-84.
