The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Olimpia (0-1) in Montevideo on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by Aguada (1-0) 84-67. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Aguada. Olimpia managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Peruvian guard Kyle Fuller (184-1992, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Center Theo Metzger (200-1999) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Dennis McKinney (193-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds for Olimpia. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Aguada maintains first place with 1-0 record, which they share with Boca. Olimpia at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Los Leones.
