The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Brazilian Sao Paulo (0-1) in Asuncion on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Paraguayan San Jose (1-0) 92-87. It was a key game for the top position in the league. San Jose outrebounded Sao Paulo 35-21 including 26 on the defensive glass.
