San Jose - Sao Paulo 92-87 The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Brazilian Sao Paulo (0-1) in Asuncion on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Paraguayan San Jose (1-0) 92-87. It was a key game for the top position in the league. San Jose outrebounded Sao Paulo 35-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Argentinian forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) fired 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
