Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Paraguayan San Jose (2-1). They were defeated by third ranked Brazilian UNIFACISA (2-1) 85-72 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Jose. It was a key game for the top position in the league. UNIFACISA looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Jimmy Oliveira (190-1990) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and Andre Bresolin (195-1987) who added 8 points and 11 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Ramon Sanchez (194-1991) with 13 points and 5 rebounds. San Jose's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
