San Martin - Obera 56-78

Obera outrebounded San Martin 37-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Spanish-Argentinian guard Jonathan Maldonado (188-1990) fired 16 points and 7 assists for the winners. Dominican-Argentinian forward Xavier Carreras (198-1994) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Obera players scored in double figures. Obera's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Matias Solanas (192-1998) produced 9 points and 7 assists and swingman Emiliano Basabe (195-1992) added 11 points respectively for lost side.

Boca players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Franco Balbi (188-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Italian-Argentinian Leonardo Mainoldi (205-1985) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Boca's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Ralfi Ansaloni (211-1987) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Betinho Duarte (195-1988) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sao Paulo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Four Titanes players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Danilo Fuzaro (193-1994) responded with 15 points and American-Brazilian point guard Larry Taylor (183, college: MWSU) scored 7 points.
