Los Leones claimed the first win in Group B. They held off Gimnasia to open win count. Los Leones grabbed a 48-36 halftime lead. Penarol cruised past Leones to secure the first win in Group B. Penarol unloaded 51 points in the first half to open an 18-point halftime advantage. Penarol held their opponents to just 20 points in the second half to march to the win.
