Dime's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award- October 18, 2023
He had a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Leones (#4, 0-1) with 33-point margin 86-53. Dime turned to be Penarol's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dime is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 75.0% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Emiliano Serres (205-F-1997, agency: Pro Sports). He is a forward in his first season at Penarol. In the last game Serres recorded impressive 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Dime he helped Penarol with another comfortable win outscoring Leones (#4, 0-1) 86-53. Serres is a newcomer at Penarol and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#7). He also registered 8.0 boards per game. Third place about best performers goes to forward Brandon Nazione (202-PF-1994) of Gimnasia (#3). Nazione scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds. Despite Nazione's great performance Gimnasia lost 71-75 to Los Leones. The season just started for Nazione as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
