Penarol finish on top of Group B ladder

Leones - Los Leones 67-87
Los Leones trounced Leones to finish third in Group B. Los Leones grabbed a 40-35 halftime lead. They went on a massive 28-11 run in the fourth quarter to ice the victory. Justin Satchell (203-C-1995, college: St.Leo) scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Nicolas Rebolledo (F-2002) and Golan Gutt (195-SG-1994) added 15 points each for the winners. Kostas Vasileiadis (200-G/F-1984) answered with 23 points for Leones.

Penarol - Gimnasia 82-83
Penarol finished atop of Group B despite narrowly losing to Gimnasia in their final preliminary round game. Gimnasia piled up a 43-36 halftime lead. Penarol went on a 23-15 rally in the fourth quarter but stopped just short of win at the end. Isaac Sosa (191-G-1990, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) paced the Uruguayan team with 25 points, while Ignacio Xavier (196-F-1999, agency: Pro Sports) added 16 points for Penarol. Brandon Nazione (202-PF-1994, college: EMU) answered with 22 points for Gimnasia.
