The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Storm made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Penarol helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) fired 30 points for the winners. Dominican Victor Liz (190-1986, agency: BMS Sport Agency) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Italian-Uruguayan guard Jayson Granger (191-1989) produced 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Penarol's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Worth to mention a great performance of Uruguayan-Italian swingman Nicola Pomoli (195-1999) who helped to win the game recording 17 points.
