Best players of Liga SudAmericana round 2 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Franco Morales (181-PG-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 32-year old playmaker had the game-high 25 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Ancud in his team's victory, helping them to beat Espanol O. (1-1) 85-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ancud is placed at 2nd position in Liga SudAmericana. Ancud is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Morales had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Ancud's top player in his first season with the team. Morales has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 41.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Gaston Cordoba (200-F-1994) of San Lorenzo de Almagro. Cordoba impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as San Lorenzo lost that game 73-87 to Nacional (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. The third best performed player last round was American James Feldeine (193-C-1988) of top-ranked Nacional De Futbol Montevideo. Feldeine scored 25 points.
