What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between Chilean Espanol (1-2) and Argentinian San Lorenzo (1-1) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Espanol was defeated by San Lorenzo in Osorno 62-77. It was a good game for Sebastian Lugo (195-1998) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Gaston Cordoba (200-1994) contributed with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. San Lorenzo's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Yahota Rasas (201-1999, college: PVAMU) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds for Espanol. San Lorenzo are looking forward to face Ancud on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Espanol will have a break next round.

It was a great evening for American forward Derrick Woods (203-1996, college: St.Peter's, agency: SLN) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Alvaro Pena helped adding 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Ancud's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Damion Hooks (198-1991, college: Rogers St.) with 24 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Ancud will play against San Lorenzo (#3) in Almagro in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Santa Maria will play at home against Nacional and hopes to get finally their first victory.
