Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Argentinian Olimpico as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Olimpico smashed 4th ranked Paraguayan San Jose in La Banda 109-83. Olimpico looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by San Jose's players. The best player for the winners was Brazilian center Joao Franca (215-1998) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. Italian-Argentinian Leonardo Mainoldi (205-1985) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Colombian forward Michael Jackson (192-1987) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpico have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Defending Paraguayan champion San Jose still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with CAN Potosi. San Jose will play next round against strong Obras trying to get back on the winning streak. Olimpico will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Bolivian CAN Potosi (0-2) against fifth ranked Argentinian Obras (1-2) on Friday night. Host CAN Potosi was crushed by Obras in Potosi 100-68. Chilean point guard Felipe Inyaco (192-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Chris Clarke contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American AJ Cheeseman (202-1998, college: UMES) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for CAN Potosi. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Obras left bottom position moving up to third place. Defending Bolivian champion CAN Potosi still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with San Jose. Obras will play against San Jose (#5) in Asuncion in the next round. CAN Potosi will play at home against the league's second-placed Defensor and hopes to get finally their first victory.
