An interesting game for Uruguayan Defensor (3-0) which played road game in Potosi against 4th placed Bolivian CAN Potosi (0-3). Leader Defensor had an easy win 86-60. The game was mostly controlled by Defensor. CAN Potosi managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Defensor shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for center Theo Metzger (200-1999) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Juan Galletto (182-1996) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Argentinian point guard Nicolas Paletta (179-1987) answered with 12 points and 7 assists for CAN Potosi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defensor have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Olimpico. Defending Bolivian champion CAN Potosi still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with San Jose.
