28-year old American forward Chris Clarke (196-F-1996, agency: Interperformances) had a great game in the last round for Obras Basket Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 15 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Obras in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team San Jose (#5, 0-3) with 24-point margin 101-77. Obras maintains the 3rd position in Liga SudAmericana . Obras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Clarke turned to be Obras' top player in his first season with the team. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Clarke is in league's top in points (9th best: 16.0ppg), assists (5th best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 68.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ramon Sanchez (194-F-1991) of Deportivo San Jose Asuncion. He is a forward in his 7th season at San Jose. In the last game Sanchez recorded an impressive 31 points and 3 rebounds. Bad luck as San Jose lost that game 77-101 to slightly higher-ranked Obras (#3, 2-2). San Jose managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Sanchez is one of the most experienced players at San Jose and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#6).

Third place about best performers goes to another Obras' star - forward Tomas Chapero (211-F/C-2001). Chapero scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was another key player of Obras Basket Buenos Aires, helping his team with a 101-77 easy win against San Jose (#5, 0-3). Obras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Chapero has a very solid season. In 4 games in Liga SudAmericana he scored 7.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
