Vorhees' 16 points and 7 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old American forward Will Vorhees (203-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Obera Tennis Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 16 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Obera in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Bauru (#4, 0-3) with 18-point margin 77-59. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Obera maintains the 3rd position in Liga SudAmericana . Obera is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Vorhees as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Notre Dame College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vorhees is in league's top in points (8th best: 11.0ppg) and rebounds (8th best: 4.0rpg). Worth to mention Vorhees played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Charles Hinkle (198-G-1988) of league's second-best Olimpia Kings. He is American guard in his first season at Olimpia K.. In the last game Hinkle recorded an impressive 24 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as Olimpia K. lost that game 73-80 to J.Guzman (3-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Hinkle is a newcomer at Olimpia K. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#3). He also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu (213-C-2002) of Zopone/ Gali/ Unimed/Bauru Basket (#4). Barbosa de Abreu scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Barbosa de Abreu's great performance the Paschoalotto/Bauru lost 59-77 to #3 ranked Obera. The season just started for Barbosa de Abreu as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

10. Augusto Silva (199-F/C-1996) of Bauru - 10 points and 5 rebounds
