It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pinheiros won fourth quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Pinheiros used huge pressure winning it 19-13 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-9. Regatas made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Regatas keep a position of league leader, which they share with Los Leones. Pinheiros at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with San Jose. Regatas is looking forward to face league's leader Los Leones in Quilpue in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
