It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Dion Wright contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Austin Wrighten (192-1996, college: Lynchburg) replied with 14 points for San Jose. San Jose's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defensor keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Regatas. San Jose at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Corinthians.
