    Hermosillo - La Paz 90-77

    Hermosillo celebrated CIBACOPA title. They edged La Paz in the decisive seventh game of the championship series. Rayos de Hermosillo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Mantarrayas' 32 and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American forward Jeremy Hollowell (203-94, college: Georgia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Terrence Drisdom (196-92, college: Cal Poly Pomona, agency: AgainHello) helped adding 22 points and 5 rebounds. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach Dan Tacheny used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side naturalized American Eder Zuniga (190-87, college: Carroll, MT) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Kyle Lamonte (191-84, college: William Carey) scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
