Mexico overcame Imports selection in the traditional LNBP All-Star Game in Monterrey. Lance Allred (211-C-81, college: Weber St.) scored 25 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. Mexico fired 34 points in the opening quarter to take a 7-point lead. Imports fired 37 points in the second quarter to cut the distance at 5-point mark. The Imports added 32 points in the third term to pull within 3 points at the final intermission. But Mexico held on to the lead throughout the final stanza and raced to the victory at the end. P.J. Reyes (196-G/F-86, college: Charleston Un.) had 15 points, while Jordan Glynn (200-F-89, college: SF Austin) added 13 points for the winners. Eugene Phelps (198-F-90, college: Long Beach St.) responded with 30 points for the Imports. Ricardo Melendez (179-PG-83) added 12 points in the losing case.
